I want to appreciate God for His divine direction over my life; for confirming His Words over my life, I say, “Thank You!”
In today’s article, I want to still continue on the issue, “SECRETS THAT MAKE FOR A SUSTAINABLE MARRIAGE”
Do you know that tolerance in marriage is both good and bad? A person that tolerates you might not love you, rather he/she is just “Managing you”.

Tolerance, in the other way, means “Submission”. Until you learn to tolerate some seemingly negative things of life, you may not go far in your relationship. But, this does not mean that as a man, if you see a negative attitude in your prospective wife or already married wife, that you need to tame immediately, you abandon it in the name of ‘Love”. That’s sheer stupidity. Love takes agreement (Amos 3:3).
Unfortunately, many have not understood that tolerance means total submission.
Jumping into a wrong marriage with your eyes wide open is the worst thing that will ever happen to a person. For how long will you persevere. A stubborn fly follows the corpse to the grave. You need to “shine your eyes” very well before entering a relationship so as not to regret tomorrow. A broken courtship is better than a broken marriage.
As you engage into new relationships in this season, make sure they are not the wrong ones. Wisdom is profitable to direct.
See you in my next article!!!
As you celebrate this love season, make it a point of duty to share love with someone!
I love you my dearest!
Still Your Humble Servant,
PASTOR GABRIEL C. ONYEKAWA
