This passage read thus: “For the love of money is the roots of all evil; which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows”. Thus, money is not evil but the love of money.

From the above Scripture, “The love of money” simply means serving money and doing anything (including evil) to acquire it. By so doing, you make it your master. Ignorantly, you begin to worship it. Money becomes the deciding factor in any step you want to take in life.

Listen: When money becomes your master, mockery becomes your portion. You cannot serve God and Mammon (Money) at the same time. One must be your master.

If you make money your master, you suffer shame, disappointments and disaster. But, if God be your Master, you make money cheaply. Hope you have heard that your heavenly Father knows that you need money (Matt 6:32) and He shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

It Takes Money To Make Money

Many think that it takes money to make money. But, this is not the whole truth.

What you need to make money is not money but ideas. Ideas rule the world. Ideas are potential money. Ideas are more liquid than other assets because ideas are immeasurable. It depends on the carrier. What you need to start or move that business forward is an idea and not money. If you can study and think, you can achieve your target. Just try it!

Praying And Fasting Bring Money

Praying and fasting are not the keys to the acquisition of money. Stop wasting your time. Stop abandoning your business in the name of praying and fasting for wealth.

Praying and fasting are like fertilizers that enrich the soil to produce tangible fruit out of the seed sown. Therefore, until seeds are sown, the ground can’t produce fruits. Even if it does, it produces multiple grasses. Get wise!

Kingdom wealth answers to the covenant principles. Only those who obey kingdom principles achieve kingdom wealth. It takes obeying the principles for wealth to be established. Sow seeds (tithe, offering, kingdom investment, sacrificial offering, etc) and you’ll have your desired results. However, this does not prevent you from creating channels for the wealth to be poured down to you (hard work).

As Long As I Pay Tithes And Offerings, Even Without Working, I Shall Be Rich

Dear, it is not sufficient for you to give tithes and offerings to make progress financially. Making money takes more than that. You need to create tangible channels for the raination of ideas that come via tithes and offerings paid. Such ideas need to be transformed into tangible form to make you rich. Poverty is still not far where tithes and offerings are paid without diligence and attitude.

If You Suffer In This World, You’ll Enjoy In Heaven; But, If You Enjoy In This World, You’ll Suffer In Hell

Listen, poverty is not synonymous with piety. That you are rich on earth cannot make you not to make heaven, at last! Even in heaven I believe, there are classes. The rich while on earth occupy the choicest places. Jesus, while on earth was rich yet He made Heaven. The redeemed poor suffer on earth and still occupy ‘Boys’ quarters’ in Heaven. If not why not why didn’t Lazarus occupy the same position as Abraham in heaven? Why did the rich man still saw him as his normal slave, who he sends on errand “any how”? Why?

Now, let us read this story, as recorded in Luke chapter sixteen verses nineteen to twenty-four:

There was a certain rich man who clothed with purple and fine linen and fared sumptuously every day. But, there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, full of sores, who was put at his gate, desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table. Moreover, the dogs came to lick his sores. So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the Angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried, and being in torment in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. Then he cried and said; “father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this flame. (Emphasis is mine)

Did you realize Lazarus suffered on earth because of his desire, “…Desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table…” He desired poverty before poverty ravaged his destiny.

Whatever you don’t want, you don’t watch. Partaking of the feast of poverty is establishing a covenant with poverty without knowledge! Until you desire it, you do not deserve it. Lazarus desired to become earthly useless and Heavenly useful. But, imagine that even after making Heaven the richman was still trying to command him authoritatively! What an insult!

Please, get informed! Do not ignorantly desire to suffer here on earth. Poverty is not synonymous with piety. Poverty is not a sign of righteousness. In fact, it is a curse! It is an orphan that only resides permanently where it’s welcome. But, poverty is a temporary detour. Don’t give him a permanent address in your life.

Money Is Scarce

Today, most people erroneously believe that money is scarce. This is as a result of what we were taught in Economics and other related financial courses. But, the truth is that there is no shortage of money. Everything on earth is in abundance. Lack is not real. But, ignorant makes it to so. There is nothing God created that can ever be in short supply. God is a God of abundance and everything He created is in abundance (Ps. 50:12; Ps. 24:1). He has more than enough. Besides, everything was created in abundance. God’s economic system never runs dry.

Money is not scarce but the world economic system can run dry. Money is not scarce. It is not a scarce commodity as we were taught in Economics. It depends on ones ideas, capacity and covenant principles of obedience.

Those That Have Money In Abundance Are Those In Power

Dear, money is like faith. It is universal. It answers to anybody who calls it by its right name. It does not flow only to those in power, oil dealers, bankers or other related. Money flows to everybody as long as you do those things that bring money your way. Have you not seen “ideators” make millions overnight just by initiating ideas and selling such to interested clients? I believe that this fascinating story, as documented by Robert G. Allen, in his book, “Multiple streams of income” will convince you.

Hear him:
I graduated in 1774 from Brigham young university with Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree…. I graduated in the one-third of my class that made the top two-third possible; it was during a major recession, and jobs were scarce. I sent resumes to thirty of the top companies in America; General Foods, General Electric, General Motors (general, anybody I could think of) I received thirty rejection letter; I was running out of money. I had no job prospects. I was desperate.

I had had an interest in real estate investment ever since reading Nickerson’s classic book, “How I turned $1000 into $1,000,000 in REAL ESTATE in my space time” rather than going for the secure pay check (actually nobody was offering me one) I asked a local multimillionaire real estate developer to take me under his wing and teach me the ropes. I was single, my financial need were minimal. I would do anything he asked. He gave me a commission job self recreational property (i.e., land in southern Utah; good only for holding the world together).

Working for him, I formed and bought my first property, a small duplex apartment in Provo Utah. The down payment of $1500 took everything I had. This led to other successful purchases and a few notable failures. Within a few short year and some massing of the numbers. I was a paper millionaire.
I decided to share my systems with a few of my close associates, who also profited. I wondered if anyone else might be interested and run a small classified as in my local newspaper. He offered to teach people “How to buy Real Estate with little or No money down.”
The next day, my phone almost rang off the hook, within weeks; I was making up to $10,000 a day in the information business. Within months, I was pulling down up to six figures a month. It was crazy!

Then, I license my name and idea to a normal seminar company who agreed to train people to use my systems and to pay me a nice royalty for every student, the timing was perfect. Within a year, my royalty checks (cheques) had grown to between $25,000 and $50,000 a week! This went on for six years! There residual streams gave me the time to write and promote two best-selling books.
When my licensing royalties dried up in 1985, I launched a new training business that took in another $100 million for the same information from many of the same people…

During my lifetime, over $1 billion is going to be dug out of the mine shaft called “Nothing down real estate”. It was a billion dollar idea!

Brethren, if a challenge of poverty could rake in billions of dollar with just one idea, then believe me money can be made by everybody, even dummies. You too can make million of Naira (or dollars) with the right idea!

Do not be like the people who sat freezing while there was an abundance of the very thing that they desperately needed to keep warm: some shiny black rocks (coal). Get up, start fire, and get warmth.

Everybody Cannot Be Rich

A lot of people, even Christians, do not believe in prosperity. They always argue that everybody can’t be rich. They even quote the scripture that says that the rich will always dwell among you. But, come to think of it, since the poor will always dwell with us, do you want to be poor? I am sure that you just echoed a capital “NO!” then, why quote scriptures against yourself? Haven’t you read the book of Numbers fourteen verse twenty-eight? Hear this: “Say unto them, as truly as I live saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you”

In the kingdom of God, where we are, what you say determines your lot (portion). Do not say what you do not mean, even “casually”. Mean whatever you say, for words are creative forces. They form what you desire.

You cannot be speaking negative words and be expecting a great harvest. It does not work like that!

Dear, everybody can be rich if everybody does what makes people rich. God is no respecter of persons, whatever a man sows, that he will reap. Thus, you cannot sow the seeds of prosperity and reap the harvest of poverty, except if the seed was not sowed in the right condition; or may be the seed was not watered. Do the right thing and you will achieve the right result.
