This Is One Strategy Every Entrepreneur Needs: Trade What You Know!

This blog post is an excerpt of one of my books, “Strategies For Business Exploits” (CLICK HERE To DOWNLOAD It)

The Holy Book (The Bible) documented:

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.

She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.

Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. (Prov. 3: 13- 18)

On his own, Bishop David Abioye revealed that increase does not come by prayer but through trading. That is the secret of multiplication (Matt. 25:14;16). So, instead of praying for increase, develop your abilities. The higher your capacity, the more resources God will commit into your hands. That is the kingdom principle (Abioye; 2009:41)

He went further to document that the only way to convince God that you are ready for more is to exercise yourself by trading with what you have. Change your prayer from asking for increase to asking for wisdom. There are millions inside every penny in your hand; it takes trading to release it. Stop despising that little amount, if you trade with it you will be surprised how much it will yield for you…No matter your field of endeavor, you are in, a business and the principle of trading applies there also. So, learn to use what you have to get what you are looking for by adopting the spirit of trading (Abioye; 2009:41-42)

Therefore, not minding what you have learnt and the gift you possess, if you fail to trade it, you are bound to die struggling or perpetually slaving it out for another man or an organization out there in the name of ‘JOB-Just Over Broke’. No one makes it outside trading. Trading your gift is divine project and nothing more.

Unfortunately today, many are deceived into believing that until you labour for someone or a seeming organized business, you have no work. This accounted for the reason why many mocked me at the inception of my writing ministry. They saw me as a struggler. They cajouled me. I was not perturbed. I persisted in writing, publishing, teaching, mentoring and public speaking, amidst blogging on my blog, www.ALANAIJA.com .

Today, to the glory of God Almighty, I ask, “Where are my mockers?”

Beloved, give your gift a commercial value and you will make the money you think you need. Until you trade your gift, you are bound to trash it! Get wise, trade your talents and gifts.

What many do not understand is that it is in the pursuit of your gifting that longevity, prosperity and productivity are guaranteed.

But, if you must trade your knowledge, you need vision.

See you in my next blog post.
