In the next few minutes, I shall be exposing to you How To Discover The Destiny Of Your Business
This is a subject I have personally taught my clients at Gabriel Onyekawa Consulting and written in most of my books in the course of my over two decades of my counseling and consulting career as a professional.
Do you know that everyone you see on the face of the earth has a unique calling? A call to serve! A clarion call. That unique calling is what is tagged, “Destiny”.
I have discovered and concluded that everyone buys and sells stuff. Everyone is a business person. It’s either you’re buying and selling intangible products or tangible products. You’re either dealing on information products such as pastoring/teaching a church, leading in a Government parastatal, authoring books (Just like me!), composing/releasing musical albums, shooting home videos/films, doing journalistic works, running an NGO/counseling/consulting organization, or engaged in any other form of service business.
Or, you produce, package, and/or sale tangible products like food stuff, home/personal care products, maintenance gadgets, life-made-easy products etc
However, everyone is a business person. This is the fact of life!
Nevertheless, it’s the foundation of a building that determines the sustainability of the building. The strength of every building is in the foundation. Thus, any business without a strong foundation is bound to collapse. You need to know how to build a solid foundation to be guaranteed of your business manifestation and ability to stand the taste of time!
That foundation is the calling or destiny of your business.
Now,
How Can You Discover The Destiny Of Your Business?
To locate the destiny of your business, your business must solve a particular need in the society, nation, or environment where it operates.
Thus, you need to ask yourself this question, “IS MY BUSINESS A PROBLEM-SOLVING TOOL?”
Need I remind you that it is the problems you solve that determine your status in the entrepreneurship world?
Entrepreneurship is the art and science of solving problems and challenges in an environment. Until you are a problem-solver, you are not an entrepreneur.
Focusing on the money you will make through that entrepreneurship idea is failing before even starting.
Your business must solve part of the hydra-headed problems and challenges of man for it to be regarded as a business.
The extent of the problem you solve is the only guarantee for your promotion in life. The extent of the problem you solve determines the level of money you make.
The world today is full of challenges and problems. The truth is that these seeming hydra-headed challenges and problems are the real money-makers.
You can make all the money you desire to make when you discover a challenge or problem that is in alignment with your destiny and solve it.
If God called you to be a musician, there are many problems you can use songs to solve. Sing songs that will stop the operations of terrorism, prostitution, armed-robbery, and other social menace. Use you songs to correct the excesses of some people of the world.
If you are called to write, just like me, locate some human problems that are in alignment with your Assignment on earth and write against it, proffering solutions for a dynamic change.
For example, God called me to teach the business people “Vision”. He sent me to inform all real and intending entrepreneurs that any business that is not anchored on Him (God) will amount to total failure.
That is why most of my book titles are related to entrepreneurship. Examples include: “Secrets Of Business Breakthrough”, “The Money In The 21st Century”, “The Study At Ease” “24th Law Of Love” etc.
Who are you? What is your assignment on earth? Where are you called to serve? How are you going to go about the Assignment? If you can comfortably answer these basic four questions, then you have discovered your purpose.
But, beyond these, what problems and challenges have you discovered around you? How does the people around you relate? What are their conditions of life? Are they poor or rich? What attitudes do they possess and portray?
All these seemingly hydra-headed challenges and problems are opportunities for your supernatural breakthrough. Do you know that you can really make money out of these challenges and problems?
God told me few days to the official launching of my weekly seminars in Africa that He does not empower personal needs; He empowers visions.
Until you get determined to solve practical problems, God might not empower you financially.
Do not become an entrepreneur because you acquired skills or training in entrepreneurship but because you have discovered a seemingly challenge that aligns with your destiny that you want to solve. That is what guarantees the release of finances from the throne of grace. If you doubt me, ask Jonah when you meet him and ask him who paid his fare to Tarshish? He paid the fare! (Jonah 1:3)
But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the Lord, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish; so HE PAID the fare thereof,…(Emphasis mine)
Stop searching for a non-existent job! Create work for yourself and your work will in turn create wealth. That is what determines the destiny of your business! Locate a problem or challenge that is in alignment with your assignment on earth, solve it and convert your solution into an intellectual product and make money forever! That’s exactly what I do for a living! You too can become a social Engineer just like me!
